1. Who We Are

Aurajinn [Aurajinn LLC] operates aurajinn.com, a content and resource hub for people building online businesses, and the Aurajinn Business Launchpad app, a free interactive planning tool for launching a business.

Information You Provide Directly

• Contact and inquiry forms (via WPForms): your name, email address, and any message content you submit, which may include details about your business.
• App account registration: when you create an account in the App, we collect your email address and password. Account authentication and storage is handled through our infrastructure provider, Supabase.
• Content you enter into the App: the App’s planning modules are designed for you to record your own business plans, niche research, branding notes, marketing strategies, and related information. This content is stored in your account and is yours — see Section 8 for more on this.
• Newsletter and email list signups (via Brevo): your name and email address, if you subscribe to receive updates from us.
• Guest content contributor accounts: in rare cases, we may create a website login for a guest author to publish content under a byline. This involves the same information as any account login (name, email, credentials) and is limited to contributors we’ve specifically invited.

Information Collected Automatically

• Website usage data: we use Jetpack Stats and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Website, including pages visited, general location, device/browser type, and referral source. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this — see our Cookie Policy below for how you can control this.
• App usage data: we use Vercel Analytics to understand general usage patterns within the App, such as which features are used. This data is aggregated and not tied to your individual identity beyond what’s necessary for basic analytics.

Our Website uses a cookie consent management tool to categorize and, where required, block cookies until you provide consent. Cookies fall into categories such as Necessary, Statistics, and Marketing. You can view and manage your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings link available on our Website. Our affiliate relationships change over time as we add, remove, or update partnerships. This policy applies to affiliate links wherever they appear across our Services, whether or not they are individually identified as affiliate links. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites you visit through these links — we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

6. Advertising

We do not currently participate in third-party ad networks or display third-party advertising on our Website or App.

7. Payments

We do not currently process payments through the Website or the App. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect how payment information is collected and processed.

8. Your Content in the App

Content you enter into the App’s planning modules — your business plans, research, ideas, and notes — belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over it, and we do not use it for purposes beyond providing and improving the App’s functionality for you. You can delete your account and associated content at any time by contacting us.

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you delete your App account, we will delete or anonymize your associated data, except where we’re required to retain it for legal or security purposes.
